Dimitris Lekanis (1986) has graduated from the Architectural Department of University of Thessaly with Honors. From his first academic years he showed great skills in the realm of architectural visualization using it as a tool in the creation of viable spaces. His interest is focused in the introduction of new technologies in the whole of designed space in a way of accommodating the modern demands through architecture. He has worked in the past in offices as well as freelance in architectural modeling and rendering.
Xenia Katsigianni graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), as an Architect Engineer. She obtained a Master degree in “Bioclimatic Architecture and Environment” from Technical University of Madrid (UPM), emphasizing in two academic specializations: Traditional Architecture and Geobiology. Her background also includes local and international cooperation with engineers in both academic and professional level. Her primary objectives focus on establishing the bioclimatic and ecological philosophy in buildings, which is the main topic of her relevant articles and lectures. Since 2011, Xenia is a PhD student at Harokopio University Department of Geography studying Environmental Risk in Spatial Design.
Fanis Tzikas was born and raised in Athens in 1970. He was a student at the 2nd Exemplar High School of Athens, and later at the cross curricular Lyceum of Ampelokipoi. In 1995, he graduated from the Civil Engineering department of National Technical University of Athens. Very soon, he showed great interest in specific issues of structural strengthening, retaining and thermal insulation efficiency of buildings. He has worked in major construction companies elaborating a wide range of static assessments of public and private projects, as well as special assessments in shoring and support. Apart from the structural adequacy, he studies the Bioclimatic behavior and energy efficiency of buildings. He is one of the first energy inspectors selected by the Greek Ministry - Department of Energy and Climate Change.
Yannis Tzimas (1968) graduated Air Force Academy (1990) and served in the Air Force as a Fighter Pilot. Since 2004, his main occupation is Architecture. He studied at the University of Volos and graduated with Honors. From the first years of his studies, he had a large interest in bioclimatic architecture and energy design of buildings. He has worked in technical offices in Volos and Larisa and was trained in architectural offices specializing in bioclimatics in Munich, Germany.
