The hotel complex is positioned in a plot at the entrance of the traditional settlement of Limeni, Mani in Peloponnisos, Greece, in a slopy terrain in front of a rocky landscape whic is part of a wide archaelogical network of protected natural monuments.
The main objective of the architectural study is to highlight and provide access to the imposing rocky front that dominates in the landscape and on the same time to integrates in its surrounding environment.
Inspired by the local traditional fortified architecture and more particularly the battle towers of Mani, four disinct building volumes/ towers, are placed linearly, each rotated in a way that follows the natural contours of the site and the geomorphology of the rock.
